Nicholtown Community Center Renovation

The city of Greenville released a proposal request on April 4 for qualified developers to lead the design and renovation of the Nicholtown Community Center.

The major components of the renovation of the existing building and site include:

Reconfiguring the building’s floor plan for future expansion.

Updating exterior design and aesthetic (new front entry, roof repair, etc.). Mechanical, electrical and plumbing replacement.

Site/park improvements (parking lot repair, updated recreation amenities, etc). Replacement of furniture, fixtures and equipment.

The total all-inclusive budget for the project is $1.8 million.

Proposals for the project are due by May 9. Project Manager Austin Hamilton explained that early June is most likely when a recommendation for award will be given to a developer.
